Jonesee? Who is this..Jonesee?

So the other day I spontainiously purchased a Nikon Coolpix P100 with the money I received for my 21st birthday. I have always wanted to get into photography, as a creative outlet, and I have wanted to blog for a long time (just never really stuck with it). So I figure this would be a good way to have a super MEGA creative outlet. No?

So on with the show! I am Jenn, I’m 21, and I am born and raised in Richmond, BC; however, I am currently residing beautiful Victoria, British Columbia. First of all, I have a wide range of interests; Ranging from fitness, health and nutrition all the way to culture, roots, and history.  However, on this blog I will be sharing more so about my food intake and work outs.

I will have you know, I am a major running junking and gym rat. I am almost ALWAYS seen wearing fitness atire of some sort with a high pony tail. I finished my first marathon in October of 2010 in 4 hours 23 minutes and 23 seconds and I am currently training for marathon number two! (Scheduled for May 1, 2011 in Vancouver). My goal is to run it in 4:15:00! (oh and secondly, I am super goal motivated..I feel lost without having a goal in mind.)

I currently work for Weight Watchers Canada as a receptionist and soon to be leader. I received my lifetime membership on January 15, 2011! I have lost a total of 38 lbs with weight watchers and 6 lbs on my own. (44 lbs) I have wanted to work with Weight Watchers ever since my first time signing up in 2007! (I joined twice before reaching lifetime).

So this is the LAST blog I will ever attempt! I really want to keep up with this super MEGA creative outlet I am creating for myself. I am not making myself update every single day, due to my busy schedule, but every few days I think will be managable.

Giddy up!!

Now today, is generally the day I way in as a member. It is my "me" time in a way, and it helps me reconnect my eating right and keeping in shape. But lately I am working reception for Saturday morning meetings for the next little while, its bitter sweet. I absolutely LOVE my job, but I miss my quirky silly little leader Rosie and all of my meeting friends!

After work, I came home and warmed up some left over chicken fajitas (whole wheat small wrap and about 2 oz of chicken in this bad boy) then decided I was going to get a lot of walking in. So I walked to the Victoria Total Health Show. It was very cool, but most of the stuff being sold was gimmicky supplementation stuff. I am not into "weight loss" supplements and "appetite suppressants." In fact, I totally disagree with them. I met up with a tweep friend, Bri, and chatted for a bit before I left for some more walking..and possibly shopping.

I had been itching for a lululemon trip for a while and I found something (actually in my size for once) that caught my eye.. and I brought it home with me..I generally wouldn't wear something so "obnoxious" with a crazy design, but I kind of liked it! Cute little running break away :)

After almost 2 and a half hours of walking around this beautiful little city of Victoria (and tracking those activity points, darn right I did!), I went home to carb load for tomorrows scheduled 16 km run. I may have made more then a cup of whole wheat pasta here, but I had a lot of points left over. Lately, I have been struggling eating all my points. I get so busy that I forget to eat! Silly me. I added in about 3 oz of the left over chicken from my chicken fajitas I made the other night. It was yummmyyy!

And dessert? well let me tell you.. I LOVE English sweets and I just found out a deadly secret about my neighborhood. The store across the street has their own British candy aisle. THIS IS DEADLY INFORMATION FOR A WEIGHT WATCHERS MEMBER/LEADER/RECEPTIONIST.

So these little chocolates I used to LOVE as a kid, and I found out they sell them here! I called them "penguin chocolates" for the longest time, but I don't think that is what they are called.. But anyway, you won't guess whats so amazing about these suckers...THEY ARE 3 FLIPPIN' POINTS!!! Do you believe that? I DON'T!

And I enjoyed eating more than one  it.

Now to get a good nights sleep for tomorrows 16 km run! I am excited, I always look forward to long runs just because I love the club I run with. I always feel so happy with all them :).

Night night!

What is one treat you allow yourself to have every week? is it always the same treat, or do you change it up?

Jonesee!!! I'm so happy you started a blog. I LOVE reading other weight loss losers' blogs (well, when I'm not reading my law books for school, that is). I'm so excited to follow along!

So to answer your question: I take night classes at school and I have one Saturday morning class. My one little treat every week (and I just started this) is taking Saturday's off from the gym AND on Saturday mornings I allow myself to get a coffee from Starbucks. I normally try to stick away from Starbucks because their coffee drinks are highly caloric. But, I decided it will be my one and only 'treat' each week. Mmmmmmmm!

Ice cream! or chewy candy. It often alternates, but I had both this week!

My weekly treat is a bottle of wine on Sat night (I do my weekly weigh-in on Sat mornings with our lovely Rosie), but I always sneak some chocolate in there somewhere!

Yes, those chocolate bars are called "Penguin'. We have an advert on television that goes "P......p......p...... pick up a penguin!' LOL
