Aloha!

Aloha lovelies!

Today is my last day here on Maui, and I thought I would make a short blog to update you a bit. But first, I have a confession to make. I. Have. Been. Eating. Like. CRAP. Only for the past 3 days but still, my body is not too happy with me right now. On the positive side, my fitness has be Phenomenal. Been lifting and running tons! Even a game of tennis! So today I started the day with a healthy Kaboom. Even though the yogurt they were serving had 29 grams of sugar. Fo real real? FO REALZ. Also, just had a full body massage and I feel like a million bucks!

So what have I been up to you ask? Well,

I went snorkelling and saw dolphins, eels, reef sharks, turtles, and even the elusive JenniferShark!

My family and I ran the Iao Valley 10 km. Which I must say, was one of the tougher ones I have run! It could have been the heat, it could have been the hills, or it could have been the mass amounts of fried food and blue hawaiians I consumed the night prior. I don't know. I am not a scientist. Either way, I am happy with the 56:19 time I finished in considering all that. Oh and I seemed to have walked a good chunk of it too, so not bad I suppose!

I went to my cousins married. Berk and her decided to tie the knot after a short 10 years of dating. I was a bridesmaid. Loved the dresses!

Spent my fair share on the sandy white beaches and frolicked a lot in the beautiful waves.

And like I said, I ate a lot. We ate at Bubba Gumps here twice. Bubba Gumps, if you aren't aware, is a restaurant that is based on the movie Forest Gump. So I took a cheesey photo, that I take almost every time I am in Maui, in Forest Gump's shoes with his box of chocolates. So to clear up and confusion, NO I did not think that oversized sneakers went with my floral strapless dress. I have more taste then that!

Also, we went to a luau with the family. My cousins, now, husband went on stage with all the children to learn the hookie lau dance at some point as well.

Got my butt handed to me in glow putt, which is glow in the dark mini golf. I know miss @kirstysheldon would have loved this !

And of course, lots and lots of pool time. Which is where I am headed now!

Alooohaaa! We are on the red eye flight to the homeland tonight. So I will be up and vlogging again soon! I miss you all!

I was so excited this morning when I saw this on my dashboard - so much that I must've forgotten to comment! These are lovely pictures, Jen. I'm so glad you had an amazing time, and were able to stay so active. The dress looked fabulous on you, and I bet the wedding was gorgeous! I am so envious of the beach and water - looks like paradise!
