I took the other half cup of blueberries and half banana and added it with some greek yogurt for my snack later on after the gym. At the gym I did 20 minutes on the elliptical, 10 minutes on the stair climber at 75-80 steps per minute, then circuit training all lower body focused. I was VERY focused this workout and really into it. Had Foo Fighters and Daughtry blaring just when I needed a pick me up. Burnt 522 calories. Woop!
I got to school a little earlier, as per usual. I always like to be there at least 40 minutes early to fool around on my ipad, check emails and what not. (or play words with friends...har har). I packed my usual oatmeal and ate that before my second class. I have been hooked on this little smoothie in the morning, oats in the late morning routine. Helps with keeping my blood sugar level for sure.
Matt came to pick me up downtown and we headed back to my place. There was heavy traffic as there is an event going on downtown so they had road closures. We both were starvin' marvin' so I chucked the dinner left overs in the microwave and put some brown rice on the stove. Was TRES yummy. Today is one of those days where I felt like no food was satisfying me. I was constantly wanting to eat. But I kept thinking about tomorrows weigh in so I did not give in.
Matt and I relaxed around a bit and chatted. I feel like I haven't had time to just sit and chill out in a while. School has been taking over my life and honestly, I am exhausted from it. I never thought Women Studies could involve so much work and I never thought the theories could be THIS complex. Some of the stuff we read leaves me absolutely brain dead for the day. BLAH!
I reached for a snack a few hours after. Ate my favourite bar. Luna White chocolate macadamia. MMMm. Seriously one of the best little bars I've had in a while!
For dinner I wanted something breakfasty so I went with just that. So I used one full egg and one egg white, onions, red pepper and broccoli in the eggs. 2 slices turkey bacon. 2 slices Weight watchers 100% whole wheat bread. low fat margarine, 1/4 of an avocado and salsa. Yum.
After dinner Matt and I watched a bit of the baseball game then got all ready for tonight. We went to the Royal theatre to watch the symphony preform Disney classics. It was wonderful! Really enjoyed it.
