Friday day off!

So what you see here is a EPIC FAIL of a protein pancake... Still was tastey since I threw frozen berries and greek yogurt on it.
But before this catastrophe, I went to the gym for a full body workout SANS coffee (I know.. crazy right? also a bad idea) I was so tired that I didn't feel that the workout was sufficient enough. I burnt 301 calories (thats including my walk home!) So I told myself I had to run that day.

It was my day off so I wanted to get a little bit of random stuff done, but still have some resting time to enjoy the day off. I am constantly GO GO GO that it can be hard to relax sometimes. For lunch I had left over casserole from the night before..That was the last of it. SO good!

I ended up going on my run and burnt 530 calories, I ran 9 km. It was BEAUTIFUL out there. Super sunny, awesome temperature (aka not too hot or cold), and low winds. However, the path was full of crazies and I go to encounter a hostile crazy. LAME! Oh and I saw a dead rat. Gross.
I came home and made a green smoothie.
My friend Olivier messaged me and said he had a half day at work so he picked me up in his new car. We went downtown to pick up my race packages for the Santa Shuffle and then went to Teaopia. I went with the Strawberry Kiwi tea. Yum! It is always good to hand out with him :).
Once he dropped me off I had time to relax, and I totally napped on my couch. AH! I have not done that in ages, felt good! Then Matt came by around 6. I tossed together random ingredients into a pan to create some sort of casserole again. (Left over corn, barley, brocoli, carrots, spinach and salsa with a little tex mex spice) I sprinkled cheese on top and slid it into the oven. ET VOILA! It turned out REAL yummy, and a pretty generous serving was only 6 points! Originally, Matt and I were going to go through stuff to figure out what we wanted to consign or give away but we decided to was a little late and we wanted to see a movie. So we went to see "The Way." It was pretty good, it kind of made me want to do a long hike like that. It definitely brought tears to my eyes at the beginning as it is a pretty heavy subject. But I liked it a lot. We decided to walk to the movies and back from the movies last night. (Last minute walk out? before weigh in? har har). Was a nice day off!

So as for weigh in on Saturday morning? I am expecting a bit of a gain, so we will see what happens :S
