Holy mileage batman!

Happy February everyone! This morning I was origionally going to sleep in until about 8, but decided to get my butt out of bed for some gym time. I arrived at the gym around 7:05 this morning and got suited up for an upperbody workout (with just a little core work).


After walking to campus I grabbed a coffee, a 1.5 L bottle of water (forgot my Nalgene bottle at home), and a fruit salad.




I worked on my take home midterm exam I have been stressing over like crazy mad! I finished a good chunk of it and headed off to class number one. I presented my first project in that class on barefoot running. Went well I think! After class, I hopped by my usual place for the hour break I have and bought a peppermint tea and ate the apple I brought with me. I worked some more on that dreaded exam. *SIGH*



Then I scooted off to my french class and women studies class. I ate this scrumptious Chocolate larabar (5 pointsplus) for my midday snack.



After class I met up with my friend for some best friend time and chit chatted about life. I then jumped on the first bus I could on that headed downtown. I pulled out my laptop ON the bus and worked some more on that exam. *SOME MORE SIGHS*
Once downtown, I popped by the bay centre for a sandwhich. Mmm turkey, swiss, mustard, mayo, and lotsa veggies! (7 pointsplus) accompanied by a diet coke.


After finishing up my exam, I went home and suited up for yet another work out. It was absolutely GORGEOUS today, and I had to take advantage!


I ran 9.99 km in 55:52. I can’t get over how much I have improved in the past while with my time! I also sat down to calculate my milage for the month of January.

Go me! I am very proud of myself seeing as this is just the start of the season. I am determined to get my milage up more this month. What should my goals be this month? Should we say...200 km? (124.3 miles)? I will have to work a bit harder seeing as February is a few days shorter then January.

I showered up, printed off my exam, and made a scumptious din-din. I LOVE Renee’s caesar salad dressing (especially the ½ cal stuff). (1 pointplus value a tablespoon!)

 I cut up WAY more romain then I had meant to and only ate about half of this.


As for dinner last night, I totally forgot to take pictures of our dinners! But Zambris was phenominal! I loved it! I had a chicken parmesian dish, and Cody had the Bolognese (which was amazing I thought). Don’t even get me started on the tirimisu!
Anyway, I am off for an early bed time. I am thinking of hitting up the gym in the morning again for some real core work. Run club tomorrow! Woot!
