And she is BACK!

"Today is a new day"

Yes that phrase rang in my head this morning as I got up at 5 am. Last night I gave myself a pep talk, and planned everything ahead of time so that the morning would run smoothly. I premade my breakfast, my lunch and my snacks. I packed my school bag with my clothing and books, and preset the coffee maker (much needed step for early mornin's!).

I didn't leave the house until about 6:30 but I take a while to drink and digest the coffee and shake. Went with my usual WW strawberry banana smoothie, 1/2 water 1/2 almond milk, banana and blueberry shake. (say that 10 times fast)

At the gym I burnt 361 calories. During times of fatigue in my workout I thought about last night and it definitely motivated me to push harder. I started with a 15 minute go with the stairclimber (80 steps per minute), moved over to core, then worked upper and lower body with high intensity intervals in between. Felt amazing. 55 minute workout all together. I left the gym and picked up a coffee at Starbucks. I don't put anything in my coffee, I like it just the way it is :). Nom!

I ate my banana in the change room, and drank 2 fills of my water bottle (that holds 700 mL). At Starbucks I picked up another banana to have later. I ate that with a light babybel cheese before my group project at 9. During class I ate my WW maple brown sugar oatmeal.

I met with my next group project group at noon. I ate my carrots and olive hummus on the bus. When I got home I chucked my laundry in the wash and had my other light babybel cheese and a WW cinnamon pop swirl crisps. I tossed the laundry in the drier, laced up and went out for my run. I ran 8.35 km and burnt 487 calories. It was a good run, struggled a bit but tried to keep a good pace. I then had my spaghetti squash and left over meat sauce for lunch around 2:45. Late lunch :).

I am happy to say it is now READING BREAK! So no classes until Monday. So happy! Need time to relax and catch up on some TV shows I have missed reading...

I watched some TV and had frozen mango to munch on. Yum. Later on for dinner, all I wanted was popcorn, so that is what I went with. I put some olive oil over it to get a healthy oil in there.

Today I drank 6 lengths of my water bottle! weeee! Now I am getting a good sleep tonight. I am gonna wake up when ever I feel like it! I work tomorrow evening but I am gonna enjoy my first day off.

Great job on the water! I love the stairclimber...I wish I could plop one down in my apartment in front of my TV.
