Went with quaker instant oats this morning. I bought a huge costco size of quaker oats because I basically eat oats everyday. This is the apple cinnamon flavour to I mixed in chopped apples.
Went off to the gym and BAM I was ON it! Did lower body HIIT training and felt amazing! I was absolutely SPENT after and burnt 703 calories! AH!
I forgot to take a pic of my snack for post workout but I had an apple, babybel cheese and banana nut cheerios.
For lunch I had a bowl of air pop popcorn and drizzled a tsp of olive oil over it for flavour and to get my healthy oil in.
I was VERY snacky after that big workout. I had cinnamon pop swirl crips, 0 point soup and ginger snaps throughout the day that I didn't snap photos of.
I was going to go for a run but I was feeling a little like it may not be the best idea with how tired my legs were feeling. For a bigger snack a few hours before Matt and I had to go out, I had a piece of toast with Dark Chocolate peanut butter on it. Yum.
Matt and I had a double date planned with two of his friends. Matt is a big groupon fan so he had bought a groupon for Nautical Nelly's. We went there and the groupon included 1 appy, 2 entrees up to 37 dollars, 2 desserts or glasses of wine. So we got a plate of callimari for the table, Matt and I both had steaks (I had a 7 oz medium rare fillet mignon with veggies and mashed potatos), and we got two desserts for us to share. Matt and I went with the warm gingerbread with ice cream. When we got home I was REALLY wanting a glass of wine so we both had 1 glass.
So you can see I indulged a bit yesterday but I am okay with that. Off to start my Wednesday! Ciao!
