I looked outside and it was pouring cats and dogs. I was sitting having my coffee deciding if I want to run or go to the gym. I couldn't believe how sore my obliques were from the gym workout the day before. I ended up lacing up and hitting the wet soggy roads for a 10.78 km run. Burnt 587 calories. I realize I should start picking up my pace a little more. Just feel I need to push myself a bit more in regards to my runs.
I came back hungry and put on the kettle as I jumped in for a quick hot shower to warm me up. I made some weight watchers oats, with ground flax in it. I had some tea from DavidsTea and a banana to go with it. Mmm I was nice and toasty after this one.
I got my things together and relaxed a bit before I had to go. I had to meet a group for another group project (yes on remembrance day). I can't believe how chilly it is getting now, I will have to start putting my mitts into my purse! I was freezing all day.
I met my group and noon and brought with me greek yogurt (with you got it! Flax seed ground) and fruit. That kept me fuller then it usually would.
I left campus about 1:45 so that I could meet M. He was getting back home from being on a short sail but I missed him a lot. He met me at my house. While he was driving over I quickly whipped up eggs (1 whole egg, 2 egg whites and veggies) and turkey bacon and scarfed that down. Oh with salsa. I love salsa!
We had a nice evening relaxing about, watching the hockey game (how Canadian of us!) and I made us dinner. I made myself something different from him. I made him some of my left over spaghetti squash with meat sauce, while for myself I made a twist on a taco salad...minus the taco and avocado. So I put a table spoon of salsa and greek yogurt, and last nights chicken and veggies over the salad. It ended up being pretty darn good. It was a nice low points dinner.
As for after dinner, I made a pot of tea for Matt and I. I tried a black tea from the few teas I bought, smelled just like chocolate. Mmm. Had it with my Weight Watchers mini ginger snaps. I would dip them in my tea. So yummy.
