Just another Wednesday

Woke up this morning around 5:45. I was debating on whether today was a gym or run day. I decided with a gym day and it wasn't AS great a workout as I usually have. Was pretty grossed up by the dude next to me on the machine that was basically hacking up a lung. DUDE if you are sick, DON'T GET ON THE MACHINE NEXT TO ME! gross. So I ended up moving to the recumbent bike.. Yeah...which I find VERY comfortable at 7 in the morning in comparison to lets say.. the stair climber?... to say the least I was very sleepy (even though I got like 8 hours sleep!) and the work out was a bit half ass. Did abs after my 30 minutes "light" low impact cardio and finished with 180 calorie burn. Not too shabby but still not my best effort. I planned on running later on in the day but the sleepies stayed with me all day so it ended up being a one a day workout day! My breakfast was a WW caramel latte smoothie, with almond milk and a banana. To be honest, I am not a HUGE fan of this flavour, but I don't like wasting things so I am using it up first. (hehe)
For snacks I packed my Weight Watchers oatmeal, greek yogurt, apple and carrots. I went to Starbucks today to find the red Christmas cups are back in.. so is the Christmas blend coffee. You guys... this is one of my FAVOURITE times of year, I love Christmas! ESPECIALLY love Christmas blend coffee at Starbucks. So I had a cup after class while reading some of the bazillion articles I have to read. (schools seriously draining me.) I was so tempted because they have the Naniamo bars now at Starbucks too! I was so close to caving but stuck to my order and ate my oatmeal instead! After that I stopped in at Walmart to pick up some things I needed. The starbucks I studied at was beside Walmart so I said 'what the hay' and popped in for some low fat margarine, PAM, and bananas as well as apples. We bought costco size apples on Saturday and YOU GUESSED IT. I am all out. I eat apples like no other during the fall. MMM so good!
I came home and made more air pop popcorn and had a handful of grapes. Oh ya, I bought grapes too. So much cheaper at Walmart then at my usual grocery store! I decided to declutter stuff. I threw away (well recycled would be a better term) all the magazines I had laying about. I am SO bad for keeping old magazines! Also throughout all the random shoe boxes under my bed full of random crap. Then recycled all my old notebooks from 1,2 and 3rd year university! Yes I had THAT many books around. I am hoping to bring some books I don't need to a used book store sometime soon as well. I want to cut down on a lot of stuff I own. May think about selling a few purses here or there too :S Scary thought for me! :P Love my shoes and bags! I had a bag of cinnamon pop swirl crisps and threw a banana in my bag and I was off to work a meeting (receptioning). The meeting went well, such a great energy in that meeting room! I had my banana on the bus back home. I had chicken defrosted by the time I got back and popped it on the skillet with some veggies and miked some potatoes.Yum!
For dessert I had a WW chocolate pretzel blast bar. I don't usually buy these but I feel I have been so strong about my food choices that I am okay with having these in the house again. What I mean is before, I considered these a trigger food.. aka.. I would easily eat the entire box. Not this time. I have felt very good about my choices and I am proud to say I am not nervous for next weigh in :D.
